Rich or Poor? Does God Care?

hand reading bible

Text: Ecclesiastes 7:10-14/ Hebrews 9:16,17/ Ephesians 1:3-12
1. Why? Money? In the family-adopted? His Part?
-it grabs attention but we must use wisdom
-its not the money that gives happiness and contentment, its relationship with Him that does.
-adopted?? Means we’re loved tremendously, He went outside to bring us in.
*Once you accepted Jesus, you’re in “The Will” you have a part of the inheritance.*
2. Will you suffer? 1 Peter 4:1,2,10,11,19 (also see 2 Timothy 2:1-3) John 16:33
-when God blesses He does so that we may be a blessing to others
-why we suffer?
a. Testimony where He gets glory
b. Our disobedience
-no doubt on whether He can bless me, wants to bless me, or will bless me.
1. Provision-now and later- generational- My part?
Proverbs 13:11-22 (also see 2 Thessalonians 3:10)
-not just about us, we need to be a blessing to our children’s children
-an inheritance, legacy
2. Bless others-not hoard
2 Corinthians 9:6-11
-we’re to give the gospel but not only that but supply a need (money)
